Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I presented you the instructions for the English test. Remember: get prepared for a writing task:

Je dois utiliser/parler de :	Je coche ce que j’ai utilisé	Partie professeur (ne pas remplir)
® Des formules de politesse simples au début et à la fin du mail		/1
® Le type de maison		/1
® « chercher/rechercher »		/1
® Le nombre de chambres et salles de bains		/1
® Le budget (prix en toutes lettres et en chiffres)		/2
® L’expression du souhait (j’aimerais…)		/2
® Ce que je n’aimerais pas avoir		/2
® L’expression de la volonté (je veux…)		/2
® La localisation de la maison (près du travail, loin des fermes…)		/1
® Citer au moins trois critères/équipements qui doivent être dans la maison (vue, cheminée, décoration…)		/1
® Plusieurs adjectifs (joli, affreux, étroit, grand…)		/1

After that, you practiced conversation (preparation of the final task) with your groups.

You had to be the agent and also the client.

Hi everyone,

Today, we studied "dot painting" thanks to a video. You first listened to it and then you watched it.

Here is what we did:

HOMEWORK: Monday, 2nd: learn the vocabulary and the symbols on the document + be able to talk about dot painting.

Now, watch this video and try to do dot painting yourselves! Bring it back to school so we can use it as a poster to decorate the classroom, thanks!

Dot painting is a technique used by aborigines. It’s a traditional art consisting in painting with paint and sticks on paper, rocks or leather. Their paintings represent/symbolize typical Australia animals like serpents or emus. They can also symbolize Spirits of ancestors.

Dot painting

è What is dot painting ?

è What major symbols are often represented in dot painting ?

“Dot painting” is an unusual technique/way of painting used by aborigines. They only use dots.

They use stick to put the paint on paper, rocks or leather and they represent animals, spirits, humans, travels or also ancestors.

HOMEWORK: learn the vocabulary and the symbols on the document + be able to talk about dot painting.

Now, watch this video and try to do dot painting yourselves! Bring it back to school so we can use it as a poster to decorate the classroom, thanks!
