• Hello everyone,

Last time, we used different strategies to guess the meaning of adjectives.

Here are some definitions we found:

    Patient ≠ impatient

    Responsible ≠ irresponsible

    Honest ≠ dishonest (malhonnête)

    Polite ≠ impolite / rude

Easily scared (peureux) ≠ bold (courageux)

    Hard-working ≠ lazy

    Stubborn (têtu) ≠ flexible

    Outgoing (ouvert) ≠ shy

    Definitions:

Ø     If you show affection and compassion for other people and help them when they are in trouble you are caring (attentionné).

Ø     Someone who is determined to do what they want and doesn’t like to change their mind is stubborn.

Ø     Someone who is easily offended, irritated or upset is touchy.
