    (the fourteenth)

How to write questions in the preterit

ð When were you born ?

ð Where was he born ?

On utilise « were » pour les personnes suivantes : you, we, they.

On utilise « was » pour les personnes suivantes : I, she, he, it.

    2)  On utilise l’auxiliaire « did » lorsqu’on trouve un autre verbe dans la question (autre que « be »). « Did » est un outil qui ne veut rien dire.

Mot en WH + did + sujet + base verbale ?

          When        did       he        die

  • Hello everyone,

Today, we had a fun lesson. We watched a video, listened to a song and we sang too.

If you want to listen to it again, just take a look at this:

    Lyrics

    Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
    In the frosty air.

What a bright time, it's the right time
    To rock the night away

Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
    Jingle around the clock

Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
    That's the jingle bell,
    That's the jingle bell,
    That's the jingle bell rock

As we finished the lesson with the alarm, I couldn't give you any homework! This is not what I wanted... no
So, please, do this during the holidays:

HOMEWORK: correct your English test on a sheet of paper and sign it with your parents.

Happy holidays, merry Christmas and happy New Year! yes
