    Olivia’s poem: part 2

In her poem, Olivia talks about animals: polar bears, Komodo dragons, snakes, Amur leopards and Siberian tigers.

All these animals are dangerous, carnivores and wild. But above all, they are endangered (=their life is in danger).

Read the statements. Are they right or wrong? If they're wrong, correct them

    1)  Wrong: Olivia wants to become a zoologist.

    2)  Wrong: She wants to save animals.

    3)  Right: “I cannot sing it”.

    4)  Wrong: She wants to be a zoologist.

    5)  Right: “Please listen to my passion”

    6)  Right: “I haven’t finished”.

    7)  Wrong: She doesn’t want Louis, the judge, to say it.

    8)  Right: “snakes skinned alive for handbags”.

    9)  Wrong: She doesn’t want people to hurt animals.

Her country organizes a carnival before Easter holidays.

She is serious, lazy, hard-working, passionate, clumsy, caring.

  • Hello everyone,

Today, we studied new personality adjectives such as "lazy", "quiet", "energetic"...

We repeated them, we asked and answered questions with them.

Then you reorganized letters to form the words.

Finally we wrote a lesson about personalities in the class:

    Wednesday, January 20th

    (the twentieth)

    What are they like?

(ne pas confondre avec la question “What do they like?” qui veut dire « Qu’aiment-ils ? »)

    Personalities in the class

    What’s Jeanne like?

    What is Jeanne like?

è     She is shy and hard-working.

    What’s Marsel like?

    è     He is easy-going.

HOMEWORK: Thursday 21st: learn the lesson (structures, vocabulaire)
