    This week we started a new lesson on best friends.

    We listened to a TV show called: the best friend quiz show!

    Here is the lesson we wrote on Caroline:

    Tuesday, March 28th

    Correction of the listening task: Caroline

     

    What food does she enjoy?

    -      She enjoys eating fruit.

    ð Le sujet est à la troisième personne du singulier: le verbe prend un –s (le verbe de goût)

    ð Les verbes de goût sont suivis d’un verbe en –ING.

                Sujet + verbe de goût + verbe –ing + complément

      

    Exercise: correction:

    1)          He likes listening to music.

    2)          She enjoys playing games.

    3)          He hates eating meat.

    4)          She loves doing nothing.

    5)          He hates playing sports but he loves eating pasta.

    6)          I like dancing but I don’t like playing the flute.

     

    HOMEWORK: Thursday, 30th: learn the lesson (Caroline)

    Today, it’s spring!

    Revisions for the test

    1)          Les verbes: avoir (have) et être (be): leurs conjugaisons, les formes négatives, les questions.

    HAVE : conjugaison : I have / You have / She – He – It has / We have / You have / They have

    Formes négatives:

    I don’t have brown eyes.

    She doesn’t have green hair.

    Questions:

    Does he have big eyes?

    Do they have big eyes?

    BE: conjugaison: I am / You are / He – She – It is / We are / You are / They are.

    Formes négatives:

    I am not very strong.

    He is not (ou isn’t) very strong.

    Questions: 

    Am I tall?

    Is he tall?

    2)          VOCABULAIRE

    Noms: mouth (bouche) – hand (main) – ear (oreille) – skin colour (couleur de peau) – tooth (une dent) – teeth (des dents) – smile (sourire)

    Adjectif: straight (lisse) – of medium height (moyen de taille) – skinny (maigre)

    -      Le vocabulaire : noms (hair, eyes, nose…) et adjectifs (long, straight, blue…).

    è    Savoir faire :

    -      Savoir poser des questions sur le physique.

    -      Savoir répondre aux questions : réponses courtes.

     

    -      Savoir placer les mots dans le bon ordre : adjectif avant le nom.

    Here are our last lessons: The creation of the monster, its description, the conversation with other pupils and the description of your friend's monster. At the end, we started preparing the exchange with the CM2:

    Examples:

    My monster has got five legs and three eyes.

    He is big, blue and green.

    1)          Prepare 5 questions for a friend in the class.

    CORRECTION:

    a) Does he have many eyes?

    b) What colour is your monster?

    c) How many teeth does he have?

    d) Is he tall or small ?

    e) What colour are his arms?
