a) Poppy can speak English very well but she can’t play football at all.

b) My brother can’t dance but he can play the piano.

c) Can they rollerblade ?

d) How well can you paint and draw ?

Exercise N°5 :

a) My mother can ski very well.

b) Can you play the trumpet?

c) Bob and Tim can play bowling extremely well.

d) Sharks can swim very well but kangaroos can’t.

Lesson 1: a picture

We can see a babysitter, a dog, a jogger, a bird, two children, a little girl and old man.

Description of their feelings/emotions

     The jogger is tired and thirsty.

The little girl is happy.

-        The dog is surprised.

-        The bird is hungry.

-        The children are excited.

-        The old man is angry. 

-        The babysitter is scared.
