This week, we started a new subject: capacities and talents.

CAPACITIES AND TALENTS
CAN and CAN’T
Activity n°1: [Subject + CAN or CAN’T + complement]
Examples:
Don can't sing.
Max can play football.
GRAMMAR: can and can’t
- Avec le modal can/can’t, on parle des capacities ou talents, ce qu’on sait/peut faire.
- Phrase affirmative : can se place avant le verbe.
- Négation : can’t : can + not = cannot
- Question : Can se place au début de la question.
- Réponse courte : Yes/No + sujet + can/can’t.
Ø Carol can swim but she can’t dance.
Ø Can you sing? No, I can’t.
