This week, we finished our first chapter.

Yesterday, we worked on numbers and dates.

Here is the lesson:

THE DATE

In English, we write the date this way: Day, Month Number.

Numbers in the date:

-       1^st : the first.

-       2^nd: the second.

-       3^rd: the third.

-       4^th: the fourth.

-       5^th: the fifth. (five devient fifth)

-       8^th: the eighth

-       12^th: the twelfth

-       20^th: the twentieth (twenty devient twentieth)

-       21^st : the twenty-first.

-       22^nd: the twenty-second.

-       23^rd: the twenty-third.

Exercise: write in letters these numbers:

HOMEWORK: Friday 25^th: revise numbers in the date

Then, on Friday, you had your first English test!

At the end of the test, you finished early.

So we did an activity:

         1)  Colours

Blue, red, green, black, yellow, white, grey, brown, purple, orange, beige, pink, silver, gold.

         2)  Days and months

è     Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

è     January, Feburary, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.

         3)  Numbers

è     One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.

           1      2        3        4       5      6       7         8        9       10

è     20: twenty, 30: thirty, 40: forty, 50: fifty, 60: sixty, 70: seventy, 80: eighty, 90: ninety.

Homework: For Tuesday 29th: copy the words in your copybook (toute la leçon ci-dessus depuis les couleurs)
