    Correction of the English test

    Ex1: Habits

    Mrs Crazy always eats mouldy spinach because she doesn’t like having a good health/ being in good health.

    She sometimes eats fresh salad because she loves having green teeth.

    Ex 2: Advice

    She should eat healthy vegetables to get fit.

    She shouldn’t eat rotten potatoes not to be smelly.

    Ex3: Voc

    Out of date (périmé), mouldy (moisi), fat (gras), smelly (malodorant), frozen (congelé), always (toujours), health (la santé), be in good health/be fit/ be in good shape (être en forme).

    Ex 4: food habits

    a)

    1)  I usually eat cauliflower for lunch.

    2)  I hardly ever have sweetcorn for breakfast.

    3)  She never eats capsicum for dinner.

    4)  I often eat turnips for lunch.

    b)

    I often eat beetroot for breakfast.

    I sometimes eat eggplant for lunch.

    Ex 5: Michelle Obama

    She said children should play in their garden because the U.S.A is a big playground.

    She said children should walk around the block after meals and play outside rather than play videogames.

    She also said that American people should climb up the stairs rather than take the elevator.

    Conclusion: She said people should get out and get active!

     

    HOMEWORK: 05/01/2016: revise the correction of the test and sign it with your parents.

    SEQUENCE 4

    The Royal family in Madame Tussauds museum

    On the picture, we can see four people:

    On the right, there is the Queen’s husband named Prince Philip.

    On the left, we can see the Queen’s son, Prince Charles (the heir of the throne, the future king).

    In the middle, we can see Queen Elizabeth II (the second).

    A woman is combing the Queen’s hair.

    They are all wax statues, except for the woman.

     

     

    On Thursday, we matched biographies with photos of celebrities.

    Then we collected verbs in a grid: the simple past/le prétérit.

    HOMEWORK: Monday, 11th:

    Wrote, adopted, began, divorced, died, married, had: trouver l’infinitif et les classer dans le tableau

     

    + learn the verbs in the grid.
