    Here is the last lesson we had before the holidays:

     

     CORRECTION OF THE WEBQUEST

    1)Halloween is celebrated on the 31st of October.

    2) It comes from “All Hallows Even” = question 6.

    3) It was celebrated on the first of November (New Year).

    4) It was made a national holiday (jour férié) in 835 AD to honour all the Saints.

    5) Other names for Halloween: All Hallows Even, Samhain.

    7) They built bonfires to frighten (=scare) spirits away.
