  • Hello everyone,

Today, we worked on the second part of Aron's video in four steps:

    - Explain: "It is the worst pain I will ever experience in my life".

    - What did he never do?

    - "All I could think about..." : find the end.

    - Is it a pessimistic or an optimistic narrative?

    Wednesday, October 12th

    (the twelfth)

    Aron’s story: video: part 2

Aron thought: “It is the worst pain I will ever experience in my life”. => Il pense que c’est la pire douleur de toute sa vie.

While he was cutting his arm, he never said « Aw », he never cried and he never shed a tear.

While he was cutting his arm, all he could think about was his family.

This narrative is rather/quite optimistic because he survived thanks to the thought of his family and to his knife.

    VOCABULARY:

    Rather/quite: assez, plutôt

    While: pendant que

Shed a tear : verser une larme

The thought (nom) : la pensée

    A knife : un couteau
