    These last two lessons, we worked on the verb "have" and on adjectives. You also had a flashtest:

    ENGLISH FLASHTEST

    1)          Répond aux questions:

    a)           Comment dit-on “avoir”? -> "have"

    b)          Comment se conjugue ce verbe:

    -      I have / You have / He-She-It has / We have / You have / They have

    2)          Exercise : say it in English :

    a) J’ai de grands yeux verts. = I have big green eyes.

    b)Elle a les cheveux longs et noirs. = She has long black hair.

    c) Ils ont le visage rond. = They have a round face.

    Les adjectifs qualificatifs

    -      En anglais, les adjectifs sont épithètes: ils se placent avant le nom.

    Ex: I have a big nose.

    -      En anglais, les adjectifs sont invariables. Ils ne s’accordent pas avec le nom.

    Ex: They have black eyes.

    Les adjectifs possessifs

    -      Ils s’accordent avec celui qui a / qui possède.

    Ex : His name is Mike.   Her name is Claudia.


     

     

    -       Quand il y a plusieurs possesseurs, on utilise “their


        Ex : Their names are Thomas and David.
