    Every day, Cinderella fixes the breakfast, washes the dishes and makes a fire.

    Every morning, she does the dusting, the sweeping and the mopping.

    Every day, her step-mother and her half-sisters holler at her.

    è    Les verbes en rouge sont conjugués au présent simple: on parle d’habitudes, de choses répétitives.

    è     Conjugaison : le verbe reste le même à toutes les personnes sauf à la 3ème personne du singulier où il prend un –s ou –es.

    CAN and CAN’T

     

    Activity n°1: [Subject + CAN or CAN’T + complement]

     Examples: 

    Don can't sing.

    Max can play football.

     

    GRAMMAR: can and can’t

    -       Avec le modal can/can’t, on parle des capacities ou talents, ce qu’on sait/peut faire.

    -       Phrase affirmative : can se place avant le verbe.

    -       Négation : can’t : can + not = cannot

    -       Question : Can se place au début de la question.

    -       Réponse courte : Yes/No + sujet + can/can’t.

     

    Ø Carol can swim but she can’t dance.

     

    Ø Can you sing? No, I can’t

    1. Can you play the guitar? No, I can’t.

    Today, we did this:

    How often do you eat vegetables?

    I always have sweetcorn for lunch.

    I sometimes eat ginger for dessert.

    I often have capsicum for dinner.

     

    I never have Maori potatoes for breakfast
