Hello everyone,
Today, we listened to a phone conversation (Jack calling his mother).
We discovered -ic adjectives and we talked about the superlative as well as experience:
Monday, April 25th
(the twenty-fifth)
Phonetics: les adjectifs se terminant en –ic
Gigantic – Terrific – Fantastic
/dʒaɪˈɡæntɪk/ /təˈrɪfɪk/ /fænˈtæstɪk/
Lorsqu’un adjectif se termine en –ic, l’accent se trouve sur l’avant dernière syllabe.
At the end, we discovered dot painting and we'll learn more about this technique next time!
Exercise : Translate in English :
- La ville la plus sympa que j’aie visitée.
- La plus belle vue que j’aie vue.
- La façon la plus inhabituelle de peindre avec des pois
HOMEWORK : 27/04/16 : Learn the lesson (phonetics) wordreference
